How it works
Four steps, then you're teaching

Apply
Tell us where you teach, what you focus on, your rate, and a bit about your experience. Takes about five minutes. We review applications within 48 hours.
02
Publish your times
Add the blocks you're free and we'll split them into bookable sessions. Change them whenever you like — there's no minimum and no exclusivity.
03
Get booked
Golfers near you find your listing, pick a time, and pay up front. You get an email with their goal and their level before you meet them.
04
Get paid
Money moves to your bank after the lesson is marked complete — not before. Payouts run through Stripe straight to your account.
What it costs
No monthly fee. We only earn when you do.
Scratch Shack takes 4% of the lesson price. Card processing is Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢, which they charge on any card payment anywhere. There is no subscription, no listing fee, and nothing to pay in a month where you don't teach.
You're not tied to us. Keep your own clients, keep teaching wherever else you teach — put as much or as little of your week on here as you want.

What we ask
The short version
We check who you are
Every application is read by a person before you can teach. It is the reason golfers trust the listings, and it's why we ask about your experience and certifications.
A clear photo of you
Your headshot is the picture on your listing — it's the first thing a golfer sees. You can change it whenever you like.
Honour the times you post
If you cancel, the student is refunded in full automatically. If they cancel more than 24 hours out, they're refunded less the card fee. Nobody has to argue about it.
